Autoworld was proud to send its latest graduate Service Technician, John Allen to a special day of celebration in November.  John was selected as being the top performing apprentice for the SEAT brand based on a range of criteria, including his enthusiasm, motivation and willingness to put in extra effort where needed.




























SEAT UK invited John Allen to spend a full day on track in recognition of their graduation from the apprenticeship programme.  This once in a lifetime experience gave them the chance to experience a wide range of Volkswagen Group’s road cars at speed around a private circuit, take 4X4 vehicles off-road, and drive the Audi R8 on the race track.  They then enjoyed a ride to remember in one of the Racing team’s full race-prepared vehicles.

But as Autoworld, Aftersales Principal, Andy Brindley points out; this event was not purely about having fun. “Delivering exceptional customer service is our highest priority,” he said “and the investment we make in our staff is second to none.  The Apprentice Graduation day represents three years of hard work, dedication and ongoing training by John Allen.

We are all very proud that SEAT UK’s national training and development division has chosen to recognise his achievements in such a spectacular fashion.

David Bownes, SEAT Apprenticeship Technical Manager added, “ With these events, we hope to give apprentices such as John Allen a day to remember with SEAT UK and at the same time, recognise their achievements and dedication to the challenging three-year Apprenticeship Programme.  It also allows them to celebrate their success with over 130 of their peer group and further increase their enthusiasm and loyalty to the SEAT Brand.  Investing in young people through the Apprenticeship Programme is a vital part of our objective to develop the highest calibre staff in the motor industry.
